By accessing or using the Silex software — whether through our SaaS platform hosted by Silex Labs at v3.silex.me, our desktop application available for download at Silex Desktop Releases, or by self-hosting the software using the source code available at Silex Source Code — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using Silex.

1. License and use

Silex is open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL). You are free to use, modify, and redistribute Silex under the same license. This includes commercial use, such as selling websites you create with Silex, which is encouraged.

2. User responsibilities

You agree not to use Silex in any way that:

• Violates any national or international law or regulation.
• Is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringes on any intellectual property rights of any party.
• Introduces viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

3. Intellectual property

Silex and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Silex Labs and its licensors. Your use of Silex does not grant you any ownership rights to the software or its content.

4. Limitation of liability

Silex Labs will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, Silex.

5. Changes to terms

Silex Labs reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use Silex after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
